Supervisor – Warehouse/Yard

Asaleo Care is a leading consumer care and hygiene solutions company, manufacturing and marketing a number of market leading brands including Sorbent, Purex, Handee Ultra, Libra, Tork and TENA.  Asaleo Care’s purpose is to make it easier for hygiene, health and well-being to be part of everyday life.  Our head office is in Melbourne (Victoria) with manufacturing facilities across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji employing over 500 people.Asaleo Care NZ Ltd is the leading manufacturer and marketer of tissue products in the New Zealand marketplace.  Our Kawerau site is equipped with modern and automated paper making and converting technology.  We have a culture of ongoing improvement in safety, the environment, product quality, reliability and meeting customer expectations.  All of these are supported by our accreditation to ISO9001, ISO14001 and AS/NZS4801 (Health and Safety) standards.An opportunity has arisen at our Kawerau Site for a Supervisor for our Warehouse and Yard functions.   The vacancy is a salaried day position Monday to Friday.  The 24/7 nature of our industry however requires the applicant to be available to respond to after hours’ calls from time to time.The successful applicant will control the operation of the Warehouse and Yard functions on site.  This will include overall responsibility for the health and safety of the team, and compliance with all H&S requirements, and receipt and dispatch of Goods (including Raw Materials, WIP reels, and Finished Goods).  They will be responsible for the systems and process updates, and management and leadership of the waged workforce for development, training, cover, and personnel issues. A tertiary qualification in Commerce or Logistics would be preferred.
