Cost Accountant – Imported Product

About the roleBased in Springvale and reporting to our Operations Controller – Supply Chain you will be responsible for delivering accurate valuation of Essity’s rapidly growing range of imported product.You’ll liaise with the Procurement and Shipping Teams to ensure accurate actual and forecast product costs allowing the business to make timely, informed decisions that drive overall business profitability.You’ll deliver EPFG (external purchased finished goods) costing cycles – actuals, forecasts, and budgets including Trans-Tasman. This means gathering the data, analysing and preparing pricing and costing reports.You’ll also manage costing for new product development and supporting invoice reconciliation process.Who you areYou love data and be comfortable working with it. We have over 700 different products in our 10 warehouses. So, you’re managing a huge data set.You are highly numeric.
